SAMSUM GALAXY S III, RECOMMENDED TO HAVE

Samsum is still, however, expected to announce updates to its popular tablet range at Mobile World Congress. The Galaxy Tab revisions are likely to improve screen size and resolution, while also updating the device’s software to Google’s new Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Samsung’s statement added that “it stays committed to providing the best possible mobile experiences for customers around the world”.

The announcement comes just a day after the European Commission said it had opened anti-trust proceedings against the Korean giant “in order to guarantee undistorted competition”.

The case surrounds Samsung’s obligations under Frand (fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory) patent licensing terms. Frand terms allow smartphone manufacturers to use standard technology, such as the signalling systems that connect mobile devices to networks. They guarantee that the company that holds a patent cannot discriminate against others that want to use the same technology, and cannot charge excessive licensing fees.

The newer information said that battery life has also been identified as a feature most users wanted improved in the Galaxy S III.

Ahead of the likely official announcement of the S III phone in Barcelona next month, it seems that Samsung has taken it on board.

According to a report of a recent interview on CNET, a Samsung executive has suggested that the S III will be equipped with a 24 hour, all day battery guaranteed in medium to heavy users.

This would be a major improvement on many current models of smartphones as many users worry about whether the phone charge will last the whole day.

Samsung may really be preparing to step up the Galaxy S III camera with a possible 12 megapixel (MP) camera being talked about as a possibility. But what does 12 MP really mean, I hear you ask. Well, a megapixel is one million pixels, and is a term used to denote both the number of pixels in an image and to express the number of image sensor elements on digital cameras or the number of display elements of digital displays. The front camera is mainly intended to be used for video chat and calling.

Rumors have it that the Samsung Galaxy S III will likely be identical to the Samsung Galaxy S II, just like the Apple iPhone 4 and 4S scenario. Will this make people slike the Galaxy S III? Eldar stated that the Galaxy S3 would run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich including Samsung’s own TouchWiz. He also said something unusual, he stated that there would be two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III one with a dual core and one with a quad core, not sure why Samsung have done this, but I could only imagine how much cheaper the dual core version would be. Despite the big screen and low resolution of the previous Samsung Galaxy, Samsung has said to up the Galaxy S III to a HD Super AMOLED plus display with an increase in resolution for a much better screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will feature a larger 4.6 inch screen when compared to the 4.3 inch screen of its predecessor. Samsung accidentally leaked that it would release phones in 2012 with the new flexible glass, specifically FOLED technology. This would make for an interesting concept coupled with the rumored 4.6 inch screen and 1280×720 resolution of the Galaxy S III. Samsung have chosen to use the OLED/FOLED screen technology as it uses less power and it also allows for the screen to be curved.

CPU / GPU is slated to possess a 1.8 Ghz Quad-Core Exynos Chip paired with an ARM Mali-440 GPU. The Samsum Galaxy S III is also rumored that this device will have 2 GigaByte of Random Access Memory. It will follow the usual Android approach with Four/Five physical keys for easy access to search, home and back buttons excluding power and volume keys.

What is your response for this new phone ???

Give your oppinion here.
